Operantics is a proudly independent, artist-led opera company based in Sydney. Since 2015, we’ve been creating fresh, imaginative performances of operatic and classical works — and building a vibrant, supportive community of artists, creatives, and arts lovers along the way.

As a small organisation with big ideas, we rely on the energy, skills, and generosity of volunteers to help bring our productions and programs to life. Whether you're welcoming audiences at the door, helping us stay organised behind the scenes, or offering professional expertise, you’ll be playing a meaningful part in our story and in supporting local artists.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with …

  • Event Support
    Greet guests, manage ticketing, assist with interval refreshments and audience engagement.

  • Marketing & Publicity
    Help us spread the word! We’re looking for support with graphic design, social media, photography, video editing, writing and content creation.

  • Production Support
    Assist with logistics, scheduling, data entry, props sourcing, or backstage coordination.

  • Professional Skills
     We welcome volunteers with experience in fundraising, finance, legal, IT, HR, governance, or other areas relevant to running a small charity and producing live events.
